Agenda IDS – The Dannemann Siemsen Institute (IDS) is pleased to welcome Dr. Jörn Feddersen, Justice of the German Superior Court of Justice (Bundesgerichtshof), for a lecture on current issues concerning trade secrets and unfair competition from the perspective of the European Union.

The event will also feature the participation of Cândida Ribeiro Caffé, partner at Dannemann Siemsen and IDS Board Member, who will present the Brazilian legal perspective on the topic.

Felipe Dannemann Lundgren, partner at Dannemann Siemsen and IDS Board Member, will be the moderator of the event.

SPEAKER

Dr. Jörn Feddersen – Justice of the German Superior Court of Justice (Bundesgerichtshof). Member of the 1st Panel of the BGH, with jurisdiction over competition law and intellectual property cases. Co-author of a renowned commentary on German unfair competition law

DISCUSSANT

Cândida Ribeiro Caffé – Lawyer, Partner at Dannemann Siemsen and IDS Board Member. Holds a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Law from PUC-Rio, with specialization in Tax Law and Corporate Law & Capital Markets from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. She is a former President and current Board Member of LES Brazil (Licensing Executives Society), and Co-coordinator of the Technology Transfer Committee of ABPI (Brazilian Intellectual Property Association).

Felipe Dannemann Lundgren – Lawyer and Partner at Dannemann Siemsen. President of the Industrial Property Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association – Rio de Janeiro Chapter (OAB/RJ). Master’s degree in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center.
