She has been working at Dannemann Siemsen since 1999. Responsible for the area of IP Transactions.
She holds a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), and specialisation courses in Tax Law, Corporate Law and Capital Markets from the Getulio Vargas Foundation.
She has extensive experience in transactions involving intellectual property rights and business agreements, in particular in the preparation and analysis of agreements involving technology transfer, technical assistance, licensing and assignment of intellectual property rights, franchising, software, and agency, commercial concession and commercial agreements in general.
She is a former president and current advisor of LES Brasil (Licensing Executive Society) and former legal director of the Brazilian Association of Franchising-RJ Section. Coordinator of the technology transfer committee of the ABPI (Brazilian Intellectual Property Association) since 2012. She is a full Professor of Intellectual Property at PUC-Rio and the author of several articles published in specialized journals and newspapers.
Recognized by “Chambers & Partners” among the best lawyers in the intellectual property area in Brazil, as well as by “Legal 500”, “Who’s Who Legal” and “Análise 500”, “Análise Mulher”, in addition to publications such as WTR 1000, IAM Patent 1000 – and Leaders League and others.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.
