Joaquim Eugenio Goulart is a partner of Dannemann Siemsen. With over 25 years of experience and is currently the partner responsible for the Litigation Group at Dannemann, specialized in patent and trademark litigations and has been successfully involved in a number of infringement cases. He also represents clients in both civil and criminal areas related to Intellectual Property. Mr. Goulart is a graduate of Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC), specialized in Economic and Corporate Law at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and received his LLM in Intellectual Property Law from John Marshall Law School.

Joaquim is co-author of the books “Comentários à Lei da Propriedade Industrial”, a work with comments on the Brazilian Industrial Property Law and “Coletânea de Leis de Propriedade Intelectual, a compilation of laws related to intellectual property in Brazil.

Joaquim, is anually highlighted at Chambers Latin America where market commentators describe him as “a capable IP litigation lawyer,” who is “highly knowledgeable and is becoming a real stand-out for the strength of his patents practice”.
