With a degree in Pharmacy and duly registered as an Industrial Property Agent in Brazil, he has been working for more than 20 years in the area of Intellectual Property Law, with an emphasis on Patents, in the areas of chemistry, metallurgy and materials, agrochemistry, biotechnology, pharmacy, cosmetics and other related fields. He is a partner of the firm, and also provides technical and legal advice on Plant Variety Protection, and carries out activities in the technical assistance of lawsuits and due diligences in the area of Patents.
He participates in important associations such as for instance AIPPI, ABAPI, ABPI, CFF and CRF-RJ. In recognition of his work, he was appointed as one of the world’s top 300 IP strategists in the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 editions of IAM Strategy 300 – The World’s Leading IP Strategists.
Pedro has also been nominated in the 2021 and 2022 editions of the guide IAM Strategy 300 Global Leaders Guide.
