IDS Boardmember. Carlos Eduardo has a degree in Law from Mackenzie University, postgraduate degree in Business Contracts from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation Law School (FGV – SP). He also has an MBA from the Institute of Administration Foundation (FIA).
His professional practice focuses on the areas of Contracts, Corporate, Tax and Intellectual Property in general. In recent years, he has been working constantly on topics related to Digital Law and Data Protection, including, especially, projects and consultancy related to the GDPR and the LGDP.
He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the American Bar Association (ABA), being the current Vice Chair of the ABA Privacy and Digital Rights Committee and also the Vice Chair of the International Contracts Committee. He is also co-chair of IAPP for the São Paulo Chapter (KnowledgeNet).
In recognition of his work, he was cited in Análise Advocacia 500 as the most admired lawyer in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
