The counselor of the Dannemann Siemsen Institute (IDS) Bernardo Marinho was invited to assume the assistant coordination of the Patents Commission of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI). The purpose of this commission is to deepen the study of patent law in Brazil, including suggestions for improving the system and best practices with the BPTO, the Judiciary and other organizations.
Bernardo has been a member of the IDS board since 2019, he is a lawyer, engineer and industrial property agent. He has solid experience in both judicial and administrative patent litigation, mainly in the areas of chemistry, pharmacy, agriculture and biotechnology.
