Meet Bianca Kremer, the new academic coordinator of the Dannemann Siemsen Institute

Professor and researcher specialist in Law and Technology, with emphasis on Civil Law and Intellectual Property. She currently teaches at Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and for the MBA class in Information Security Management at Infnet Institute. Invited professor at teaching and research institutions, such as PUC-Rio, Veiga de Almeida University, New Law Institute, and ITS Rio.

In her doctorate, she researched the phenomenon of algorithmic biases from a racial and legal perspective. She holds a Master’s degree in Constitutional Law from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and a Bachelor’s degree of Law from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). She was also a Research Fellow at the University of Leiden (Netherlands) at the Center of Law and Digital Technologies (scholarship Coimbra Group).

She is a member of the Nucleus of Law and New Technologies – DROIT (PUC-Rio) and research coordinator at the Laboratory Company and Human Rights (LeDH.uff) in the line “Law, New Technologies and Society”.

Bianca comes to reinforce the IDS team and plays a strategic role in the academic production of the Institute. Welcome!
