IDS Executive Director Gustavo Piva de Andrade lectured on “Data Protection” at the National Federation of Security and Securities Transportation Companies (FENAVIST) on December 5th.

FENAVIST members attended the event, which aimed to discuss the impacts of the General Data Protection Act (LGPD) on the surveillance sector.

Among the topics discussed: facial recognition, use of biometric data, regulation of closed television systems, data sharing with the government, and how to structure an LGPD compliance project.
