Changes in the BRPTO’s Presidency and Board of Directors

The Presidency of the Republic’s Office published yesterday, 01/02/2023, in the Official Gazette of the Union, the Ordinances of January 1, 2023.

By determination of the Chief of Staff of the Presidency of the Republic, within the scope of the National Institute of Industrial Property (BRPTO), the following were exonerated:

CLAUDIO VILAR FURTADO as President of the BRPTO.

TANIA CRISTINA LOPES RIBEIRO as Director of the Executive Board of the BRPTO;

FELIPE AUGUSTO MELO DE OLIVEIRA as Director of the Trademark, Industrial Designs and Geographical Indications Board; and

LIANE ELIZABETH CALDEIRA LAGE as Director of the Patents, Computer Programs and Topography of Integrated Circuits Board.

The Dannemann Siemsen Institute is following this development closely and will report as soon as new information about this subject were published.
