On March 25th, IDS promoted a webinar on the New Franchise Law. The novelties and peculiarities of the Law were addressed, with a special focus on changes concerning the Franchise Offer Circular (COF), specific rules for the subleasing of the commercial point, solidification of some jurisprudential understandings, among other topics.
The reflexes of the coronavirus pandemic and the legal containment measures were also subject of discussion, considering the impacts on commercial enterprises and the fulfillment of contracts by franchisors and franchisees.
