IDS Agenda – “Updates on the registration of technology transfer agreements: the role of the INPI in reducing tax risk”

IDS Agenda 2024: Inaugurating the first IDS Agenda of the year, the Dannemann Siemsen Institute (IDS) welcomed a team of experts to discuss the latest developments in the registration of technology transfer agreements and the role of the INPI in reducing tax risk.

The aim of this event was to discuss the main regulatory changes relating to the registration of contracts with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and the remittance of royalties abroad, as well as their impacts.

To discuss these and other issues, Dannemann Siemsen Institute Board Member Cândida Ribeiro Caffé moderated a panel with two experts on the subject:

Bernardo Bemvindo talked about the role of the INPI in the current scenario and the prospects for the INPI’s Contracts Coordination.

Juliana Bussade Monteiro de Barros discussed the tax impacts of these regulatory changes.
