Opening Remarks:
Elisabeth Siemsen do Amaral is a partner and member of the Board of Directors of Dannemann, Siemsen and member of the IDS Advisory Board, with more than 35 years of experience in IP. She specializes in trademarks, with a focus on prosecution, administrative litigation, and strategy. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the International Trademark Association – INTA (2023–2025); a member of the Global Advisory Council Latam & Caribbean (GAC) and the Leadership Development Committee (LDC) of INTA; past President of the Inter-American Intellectual Property Association – ASIPI (2018–2021), and currently President of its Ethics Commission; member of the Board of Directors Council of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association – ABPI (since 2014) and member of the Board of Directors Council of the São Paulo Intellectual Property Association – ASPI (2025–2027).
Speakers:
Felipe Dannemann Lundgren is a partner at Dannemann Siemsen and a member of the IDS Advisory Board. He has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property and digital law. He is currently President of the Industrial Property Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association – Rio de Janeiro Chapter (OAB/RJ), and Vice-Chair of the Unfair Competition Team (UCT) at the MARQUES Association. He also serves as Member of the Board of the Brazil-Germany Chamber of Commerce. Felipe holds a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center.
Rafael Atab is a partner at Dannemann Siemsen and a member of the IDS Advisory Board. His practice focuses on the strategic management of intellectual property rights portfolios, with particular dedication to high-profile, complex matters in the field of trademarks. Rafael is a member of the Board of AIPPI – Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle. He holds a Master’s degree in International Law of Integration from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
