Online Course “Digital Justice and the Supreme Court: impacts of AI on the admissibility judgment of Exceptional Appeals”
On October 15th and 16th, IDS promoted the online course “Digital Justice and the Superior Courts (STF and STJ): impacts of AI on the admissibility judgment of Exceptional Appeals” for partners, employees and clients of the Dannemann Siemsen office. The course was lectured by Drs. Alexandre Freire and Diogo Verneque, advisors to the Presidency and Vice-Presidency of the STF and STJ, respectively, and addressed highly relevant issues for professionals in the area of legal litigation.
Among other aspects, the dynamics of the examination of the admissibility of special and extraordinary appeals in the Superior Courts was explained, including the application of new technologies (Athos, Victor and Socrates) for the processing of appeals. Gustavo Piva de Andrade, executive director of IDS, and Marcelo Mazzola, partner of the Dannemann Siemsen office, participated as mediators.
