With extensive experience in the environmental advisory and litigation area, Vicente Habib has a degree from PUC-Rio, with an Executive Postgraduate degree in Oil and Gas from COPPE/UFRJ. He has accumulated 18 years’ experience in Environmental Law and Sustainability, acquired at large companies and top ranked law firms. After being part of the environmental law practice at Dannemann Siemsen between 2002 and 2008, he worked for 12 years in the corporate sector, being prominent in the implementation of infrastructure projects of national importance. He held positions of leadership in companies in the energy, ports and natural gas sector, and was the Sustainability Director at Gás Natural Açu S.A. for the past 3 years, where he was responsible for the socio-environmental strategy for the development of the largest gas fired power plant in Latin America. Back at Dannemann Siemsen, he now leads the environmental practice with a focus on advising clients on all types of claims related to environmental law, and he brings a strong background for the development of projects in the area of infrastructure and natural resources.
