Attilio Gorini is a lawyer, industrial property agent and partner of Dannemann Siemsen, with more than 18 years experience in intellectual property. He graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro with a degree in law. He completed a Master’s degree in Entertainment and Media Law at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. He teaches at two post-graduate courses at the Superior Law School in São Paulo (ESA-SP), Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, also being the co-ordinator of the second course. He also lectures on the Entertainment Law course at the State University of Rio de Janeiro – UERJ.
Attilio also lectures on the Intersession Course on Moral Rights of the Author at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and was invited to teach the module on moral rights of the author for the Master’s online course at the same university. He is a member of the Committee on Copyright Law, Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law of the Rio de Janeiro Section of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ). He is an adviser to the Dannemann Siemsen Institute for Technical and Legal Studies. As a lawyer, Attilio constantly works in writing and negotiating contracts involving widely differing areas of entertainment law, advises clients on trademarks and copyright and deals with complex lawsuits concerning entertainment law, copyright, personality rights and trademarks.
