Alvaro Loureiro Oliveira, a lawyer and industrial property agent, is a partner of the Dannemann Siemsen firm with over 20 years experience in the field of Intellectual Property.

An arbitrator at WIPO for domain name issues and member of the most important national and international associations that defend Intellectual Property rights, such as: ABAPI (Brazilian Association of Industrial Property Agents), serving as Director of Communications (2012/2013); ABPI (Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property), where he is Co-coordinator of the Trademark Committee; AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle), ASIPI (Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property), LES-Brasil, ICANN At Large, and APRAM (Association des Praticiens en droit des Marques et des Modèles).

Alvaro Loureiro represents Brazilians and foreigners, principally French and Italian companies in the fashion and accessories, cuisine, publishing, hotel and perfume industries, amongst others. He is frequently invited to speak by the Union des Fabricants, a French organization that fights for the rights of luxury trademarks and domain names of companies in the country.
