The Dannemann Siemsen Institute (IDS) hosted a team of experts to discuss relevant topics regarding the clearance process in entertainment activities.
The clearance of rights for the use of third-party works in entertainment activities is essential to avoid potential legal issues. However, this is a complex task that raises questions such as:
• What are the necessary steps for the clearance process of intellectual property rights and related third-party rights?
• What are the obstacles and risks faced during the execution of this activity?
To discuss these and other questions, Fernanda Salomão Mascarenhas, a Partner at Dannemann Siemsen, moderated a panel with two experts in the field:
