A biologist with a degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Thaís has a master’s degree and a PhD from the Medical School at the same University, with extensive knowledge in molecular biology, oncobiology and genetics. She works in the administrative prosecution of patents, mainly in the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and agricultural products, where she works in the preparation and analysis of the patentability of patent applications, as well as being a technical consultant in these areas. She also has experience in matters related to the approval of pharmaceutical products and processes by ANVISA and the listing of biological sequences. She was invited and completed the Training Course for Practitioners Specializing in Patents promoted by the Japan Patent Office (JPO) in 2020. She is also a member of CRBio-RJ.
