“How to develop an innovation-friendly ecosystem in the post-pandemic world?”
The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed structural weaknesses related to the research and development (R&D) environment in Brazil. It is a strategic area for the full economic development of a country, responsible for differentiating it and making it competitive in global trade.
Research and innovation gain special prominence in the context of confronting COVID-19. What do the data collected on R&D show in terms of the prospect of economic growth for the country? To what extent can the coronavirus pandemic influence this situation? What have the private sector, universities and other actors been doing?
